TAKING DOWN GOLIATH IN SPORTS, IN LAW, AND IN LIFE

Spencer Kopf speaks on a variety of topics for audiences all over the country. Whether it's a legal seminar for his fellow attorneys, a keynote speech, or a motivational program, Spencer's ability as a storyteller allows him to universalize his experiences in sports, law, and life in general. He offers the following acclaimed programs as well as customized speeches.

Playing the Fairway

In this motivational seminar, Spencer leads his audience through his approach to overcoming life's adversities. His "B.E. S.P.I.R.I.T.E.D." program is an amalgam of the popular philosophies of some of Spencer's friends and mentors, notably his coaches Abe Lemons and Paul Hansen, plus a few of life's lessons Spencer has picked up over the years.

In and Out of the Courtroom

Over the years Spencer has handled many high-profile cases and has achieved significant successes in the courtroom for a wide range of clientele. This educational seminar will be of interest to the general public and jurists alike. In it, Spencer describes how much creativity goes into developing a legal strategy, using salient examples from his long legal career. Audiences learn how Spencer was one of the first attorneys to successfully set aside a verdict citing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They will also find out how procedure is one of the least understood areas in the law: a lesson the NFL learned in 1982 when Spencer's legal tack forced the owners and the union to capitulate and settle the labor strike.

“Judge Spencer Kopf was on my radio show twice and he is so passionate about his work with the players and it shows that he is out for the good of the current and the past players. . . . Even someone like me who knows very little about this industry can see when someone is that passionate and outspoken about people and issues and backs it up with facts, then there must be something you should listen to and investigate further. Love people who have the guts to stand up for what is right and fair.”
